Regretfully, the time is running out for all business owners who have not paid their personal property taxes on the equipment and furniture and fixtures they use in their businesses. In a very short time, personel from the Elko County Assessor's office will be visiting the businesses who have delinquent taxes and serving them with a seizure notice. Personal property will be seized at this time to cover the amount of taxes owed, and the personal property will then be auctioned at a later date.
