All taxpayers holding Oil and Gas leases on Federal lands in Elko County should know that we will soon be mailing the tax bills for those leases per the list we have been given by the BLM. They will be due October 25th, and will have a 10 business day grace period.
Addititonally, we are about to start Seizure proceedings on those manufactured homes with tax bills of less than $100.00. The taxes were due August 19th, and the grace period expired the 30th of August. Seizure notices will be mailed shortly. Paying the taxes as soon as possible will allow home owners to avoid the $200.00 advertising and posting fee that will be added to the tax bills shortly after the beginning of October.
If there are any questions, please call and we will do our best to help you!
