New Forms!
Many of you in our community have been used to receiving Exemption Renewal cards, Owner Occupancy cards, and Valuation Notices. The next time you receive them, they will not be in the form of cards the way they have been on the past. Our new operating system through DEVNET allows us to print our own forms on letter sized paper, thereby saving the money spent for specialty cards. Most of the cards had to be mailed as first class postage, and that will still be the case, so the change does not necessitate more postage expense. From now on the notices you receive will be on normal letter size paper, and will arrive in a window envelope from our office. You will notice the envelope will have a notation about the letter inside being time sensitive as nearly everything we mail out has a date by which the material enclosed must be returned to our office. You will return them to our office as you always have, having signed and completed the request for information, but we wanted you to be aware you need to be looking for letters rather than the small cards which you used to receive. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact this office at 775-738-5217.
