Owner Occupancy Cards!
In the next several days Owner Occupancy Cards will be showing up in the mailboxes of taxpayers who have purchased a new residence in our county. The Owner Occuppancy Card, when properly filled out and returned to this office, assures the maximum tax cap for primary residences. It is a pink and white card, and if you have purchased a home since September 15th of this year, you will receive one. Check primary residence if it is your primary residence, sign it and return it. That will assure you the lowest possible tax bill in the upcoming year. Check rental if you are using the home as a rental, and under certain conditions you may still qualify for the maximum tax cap. Check other and write a brief explanation if the home is neither your premary residence or a rental. If you have any questions, please give us a call and we'll be happy to discuss them with you!
Owner Occupancy Cards
We will soon be mailing out Owner Occupancy Cards to owners of parcels which have recently been purchased or for whom a change of address has been requested. Be sure to fill these out and return them so that you can receive the maximum tax cap to your taxes in the upcoming fiscal year. They will be mailed in stages, so the first cards should be showing up in your mailboxes in just a few days.
