Business owners have a new option for filing personal property this year!

Hello Business owners!  This year you can file your personal property affidavits on line at
www.elkocountynv.net.  From the County home page, select Departments, then Assessor.  On the Assessor home page, check the links on the left side of the page for "On-line Form Filing."  In order to use the on-line filing, you will need your account number and access code, both of which are on the form you receive from us every year.  You can go in and work on your form, save it, and come back later if needed as it will not be submitted until you actually click the submit button.  Shortly we hope to have upgraded the software so that you can print a copy of what you submitted, and so that you will be able to receive notification via email when the form as been retrieved by our office.  For most business owners it will take a very few minutes to do.  Let us know what you think, and if you have any questions call us at 775-738-5217.
