By the way, just as a reminder, all taxes are now paid in the Elko County Treasurer's office, and all vehicle registrations are handled at the Department of Motor Vehicles office at 3920 Idaho St. here in Elko.

Applications for Smartphones!

For those of you who have smartphones, you can now download the GIS map for Elko County to your phone or tablet.

From your iPhone, go to your Application icon, and open the App store.  Type Elko Parcels in the search field and then Enter.  Our GIS information is free and will download in just a few moments.

For those of you running an Android base operating system on your smartphone, you may have an Application icon that says Google Play Store.  Open the Play Store and type Elko Parcels, and the GIS app will appear.  It is free and will only take a a few moments to download.

These apps will be very helpful for those of you interested in researching parcels that the Treasurer auctions, as well as mobile homes which this office auctions from time to time.
